Reporting Alignment Resources

North Carolina governmental public health is subject to many reporting requirements. Reporting Alignment Resources help identify statewide opportunities to align requirements while making it easier for local health departments to understand these requirements.
These resources closely align with the North Carolina Local Health Department Accreditation (NCLHDA) Program. Visit the NCLHDA website for cross-posted resources and more!
Reporting Alignment Crosswalk
This resource creates efficiencies for agency accreditation staff and provides a guide for managing accreditation transitions. It includes crosswalks to connect old NCLHDA requirements to new NCLHDA requirements (effective June 1, 2026). It also includes references to the Foundational Public Health Services, PHAB measures, and NCDPH Agreement Addendum requirements.
Reporting TA Office Hours
Virtual office hours provide accreditation team members, health directors, and agreement addenda leads an opportunity to explore the Reporting Alignment Crosswalk (Excel) ask questions to NCLHDA Program staff, and receive technical assistance (TA) about the new accreditation documentation requirements.
2026 Office Hours
Click on the session link to register through the NCLHD Accreditation (NCLHDA) website. See all NCLHDA events on their website.
Accreditation 101 Training
Accreditation 101 provides a basic overview of the accreditation process, transitioning to the new NCLHDA standards and activities, and the role of the Agency Accreditation Coordinator (AAC). While this training is usually recommended for new AACs, with the new Accreditation Standards and Activities going into effect in 2026, we recommend all AACs, co-AACs and back-up AACs attend one of the sessions offered in 2026. Save the date for the next training on September 8 (time TBD).
