The Policy Skill-Building Seminar Series is a 6-session, weekly virtual series offered in the Spring and Fall. This series focuses on developing practical, applied policy skills that participants can use in their day-to-day work. This course series is designed as an introduction to policy offering public health leaders hands-on skill development on priority topics, such as informing policymakers about public health expertise and needs, enhancing communication and strategy, building relationships with elected officials, and more. This series will be most useful for individuals interested in policy at the local health department level and regional level, as opposed to statewide.
